S19a Alpe Fornà superiore - Cresta nord Monte Zeda

From Alpe Fornà to the north ridge of Monte Zeda, with parts of the path to be followed carefully. At Fornà the refuge dedicated to the partisan U.Cavallasca Cucciolo and memorial of the shooting of '44.

A compact 623 m route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 8 minutes.

This route forms a near-complete loop: the start and finish are very close together, so only minimal transport is needed to get back. It combines the convenience of a circular walk with a slightly varied return. Follow the S19A waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
