South West Coast Path (Section 1: Minehead to Porlock Weir)

South West Coast Path (Section 1: Minehead to Porlock Weir) is a 20.2 km National Hiking hiking trail covering an interesting stretch of countryside.

A 20.2 km long-distance challenge suited to experienced hikers. Most complete it in around 4 hours and 30 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the SWCP waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a National Walking Network (NWN) trail, this route represents a nationally recognised hiking corridor. Infrastructure and waymarking are maintained at a high standard.
