Teeley Creek Trail #251
The trail descends from Forest Road 8140 to Pothole Lake. It then meets with Osborne Mountain Trail, turns south and climbs steeply to Upper Bertha May Lake. Continuing east, it passes Granite Lake ending at a junction with Big Creek Trail near Cora Lake.
This 6.4 km route sits in the sweet spot for a half-day outing — long enough to feel rewarding, short enough to leave the afternoon free. Expect around 1 hour and 26 minutes.
Laid out as a circular walk, this trail finishes exactly where it begins — no need to arrange transport back or retrace your steps. Look for the 251 trail markings to stay on the official route.
Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
