Lasciato il centro di Niscemi, una discesa di più di 2 km permette di arrivare al fiume Maroglio, dopo averlo attraversato, inzia una lunga risalita verso le numerose colline del Calatino, quindi Caltagirone, città bassa e città alta

Covering 23.1 km, this demanding trail is best tackled by experienced walkers in good condition. Budget roughly 5 hours and 8 minutes or consider splitting it across two days.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the Fab-6 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
