From Viggiona,at the crossroad with R46,towards Piazza del Pozzo and then to Monte Carza,insertion R40. Just before the top there is the Stella del Lago Maggiore Chapel,a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. Remains of military posts of the First World War.
