A00a - Via Francisca (prima sezione)

Historical walk along the Francisca Road which takes place mostly on internal roads, mule track and paths. In many crossroads it is difficult to identify the path due to the lack of painted flags and some guideposts

At 24.4 km, this is a challenging full-day or multi-stage hike. At an average pace, the route takes roughly 5 hours and 26 minutes to complete.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the A004 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
