Andros Routes 4

This route leads from Aidonia higher above the Bay of Korthi to the monastery of Tromarchia on the slopes above the western coastline of Andros. Traditional settlements and agricultural land make up the background for the most of this route.

At 7.2 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 36 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as 4, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
