The stage follows the CAI 105 route but enters a military area (Monte Romano shooting range). Some fords are not feasible in the rainy season. It is possible that one cannot walk. Be very careful! Ask for information before leaving...

Covering 15.7 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 3 hours and 29 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
