Apollo Trail 2

Starting form Andritsaina this trail follows the footsteps of the ancient Greek historian Pafsanias towards the Temple of Apollo Epicurius, on a route with strong history from ancient times up to now.

Covering 10.2 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 16 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 2 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
