Archaeological route of Kantanos-Selino - Day 1

The first part of this route takes hikers from Paleochora to Temenia, following a seaside trail (E4) at first and then a trail through the gorge of Anydroi and further mountain trails.

A 14.0 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 3 hours and 7 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the ARKS1 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
