Boundary Walk, Hughenden

This 4-mile walk broadly follows the outer boundary of the Hughenden Estate. It allows you to explore beautiful woodland, open parkland, farmland and a rare chalk stream. No stiles, some steep slopes, a short road section & slippery sections when wet.

At 7.0 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 34 minutes.

Almost circular, this trail brings you back very close to your starting point. A short transfer or brief walk connects the finish to the trailhead.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
