Bradenham: Chiltern Hills, Valleys and Woodlands Walk, Bradenham

Chalk meadows, beech woods & farmland with views across the Chilterns, Bradenham, Smalldean, Loosley Row & Lacey Green. Descend gently to North Dean & return to Bradenham via Naphill Common. Rough tracks, moderate climbs, stiles, gates & uneven terrain.

Covering 13.3 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 57 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
