C12 - Viganella - Alpe Barco - Alpe Cavallo

This is, of the three possible, the longest and most demanding route to reach the Alpe Cavallo

A 5.7 km half-day trail that offers a balanced outing without demanding too much. Budget around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the C12 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
