This hiker only trail is used mainly by people staying at Holden Village. The trail starts surrounded by lodgepole forest and after a mile it breaks into the open, providing great views and continues into subalpine areas within Glacier Peak Wilderness.

This 4.5 km walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 1 hour.

The route nearly completes a loop, with start and end points within easy walking distance of each other. Minimal logistics required. Look for the TR 1246 trail markings to stay on the official route.
