Countryside Walk, Melford Hall

Circular ramble with rolling hills and beautiful vistas. Look out for poppies in summer. Easy walking on distinct dirt or grassy paths. Two stiles. Can be muddy after wet weather, so boots may be necessary. Care needed when crossing the busy A134, twice.

At 10.2 km, this is a solid full-day hike. At an average walking pace you can expect to complete the route in roughly 2 hours and 16 minutes.

Almost circular, this trail brings you back very close to your starting point. A short transfer or brief walk connects the finish to the trailhead.
