Grande Anello dei Borghi Ascolani - Tappa 7

Si segue il fiume Castellano, fino ad arrivare al lago di Castel Trosino, borgo arroccato su un enorme masso di travertino. Dopo una sosta al Rifugio Paci, si rientra di nuovo al punto di partenza del Cammino: la Piazza del Popolo di Ascoli Piceno

Covering 11.9 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 38 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the GABA7 trail markings to stay on the official route.
