Hardwick Millennium Footpath

A circular walk around Hardwick to celebrate the Millennium. The walk begins and ends at the Hardwick village sign. It passes through the parishes of Hardwick, Comberton, and Caldecote, and crosses the Greenwich Meridian twice.

Covering 13.0 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 54 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
