Headon Warren Walk, Isle of Wight

Head up Headon Warren – an exhilarating walk with great views of the mainland & a Bronze Age burial mound to discover. This walk can be shortened to 3 miles (4.8km) by missing out Alum Bay. Paths can be slippery & this route has many gates, stiles & steps

Covering 6.8 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 31 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch.
