This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required. Follow the 31 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.

Set in Alpes-Maritimes (FR), Le Camp romain passes through scenery typical of the region. Trail upkeep and waymarking are the responsibility of Département des Alpes-Maritimes. It makes an excellent choice both for those who know the area well and for first-time visitors keen to explore on foot.
