Observation Trail #132

This trail provides access to Trapper Creek Wilderness. Beautiful wildflowers and Bear Grass are abundant along the trail in season. The trail provides majestic views of Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Mount St. Helens.

Covering 11.1 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 28 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 132, so look out for the trail markers along the way.

As a Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail is maintained and waymarked at the regional level. It typically connects towns, villages, and natural highlights across the wider area.
