Mountain side path on the Monterosso that from Suna climbs to Cavandone among chestnut woods and with views over the Borromeo Gulf

Covering just 1.8 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 24 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the P01C waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
