R07 Intragna - Cappella del Pian Cavallone

In very open environment between Intragna and the Rifugio Pian Cavallone CAI Verbano,through Cambiesso and Sunfaì along the route of the Valle Intrasca Marathon.Continuing on R03,near the ruined of ex-hotel,there is the winter bivouac always open.

A 5.1 km half-day trail that offers a balanced outing without demanding too much. Budget around 1 hour and 7 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the R07 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
