R09 Intragna - Onunchio - Colle della Forcola

Intragna and pasture Corpetto, Doaglia, Usciago, Casaiuva, Onunchio, Colle della Forcola. A path in the San Giovanni Valley on practicable and signposted paths up to Onunchio, then less obvious signs with some demanding passages.

At 9.2 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 2 hours and 2 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the R09 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
