R12 - Esio - Luera

The route, in the woods on the hillside, starts from the square of Esio on a paved road, then continues on a gravel road and on a path, then on a cart track it reach Luera.

At 3.9 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 52 minutes at a comfortable pace.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the R12 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
