R30e Ghiffa - Sacro Monte SS.Trinità di Ghiffa

Route between Ghiffa lakefront and Sacro Monte of SS. Trinità, initially on an asphalt road, then on path at times steep. The Sacro Monte is a World Heritage Site and a Special Nature Reserve. Magnificent dominant position on Lake Maggiore.

At 1.2 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 17 minutes at a comfortable pace.

Almost circular, this trail brings you back very close to your starting point. A short transfer or brief walk connects the finish to the trailhead. Follow the R30E waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
