Beautiful walk through larch trees until Pian du Scricc then climb up to Pian Sass Mor, a steep rampart precedes the Valtendra Pass, a long traverse up to the Scatta d'Orogna, the flat Val Buscagna and a last steep descent leads to the Devero

Covering 13.9 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 3 hours and 5 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the SI waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a National Walking Network (NWN) trail, this route represents a nationally recognised hiking corridor. Infrastructure and waymarking are maintained at a high standard.
