Schäfersteinpfad

Der Weg folgt weitgehend der Grenze des dem Deutschen Orden seit dem 15. Jh. als Viehweide zugeeigneten Hutewalds auf Frankfurter Gemarkung. Etwa 50 der Grenzsteine (Schäfersteine) sind erhalten und werden durch nummerierte Täfelchen markiert.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
