Sefton Coastal Path
These popular, well-used, cycle-friendly paths pass through the National Trust site of Formby, connecting the 1.5 miles between Lifeboat Road and Victoria Road car parks.
At 7.3 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 37 minutes.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
