This 5.5 mile trail accesses the southwest corner of Trapper Creek Wilderness. Soda Peaks Lake, a glacial -carved cirque, is surrounded by conifers in a mountainous setting.

Covering 8.2 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 50 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 133 trail markings to stay on the official route.
