Starting from Houghton Mill, this relaxed walk takes in water meadows and the delightful Ouse Valley landscape, while also allowing you to to uncover the past glories of a market town. Mostly level ground, with several stiles, gates and steps.

Covering 9.0 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
