Südalpenweg 03A

Variante von 03 zwischen Soboth und Weintrattl (nahe Hühnerkogel zwischen Jankitzkogel und der ehem. Roßhütte auf 1430 m). Ab Weintrattl führt die Etappe über Weg 03 nach Lavamünd (siehe website).

Covering 9.3 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 5 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 03A trail markings to stay on the official route.

The National Walking Network (NWN) designation reflects the importance of this trail at a national level. Expect consistent waymarking and well-maintained path surfaces.
