Thames Path - northern bank
Created to ease maintenance on the "main" Thames Path from Source to Woolwich. The North (or true Left) Bank has many diversions away. Through central London (Battersea Bridge to Tower Bridge) the route tends to hug the River.
Covering 46.8 km, this is a true long-distance trail best approached as a multi-day journey through varied terrain.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the TPnth trail markings to stay on the official route.
A Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail weaves through the regional landscape connecting villages, viewpoints, and countryside.
