Two Saints Way

Two Saints Way - Chester Cathedral to/from Lichfield Cathedral. In the late Middle Ages a steady stream of pilgrims walked this way – both housing shrines to two game-changing Mercian saints in the 7th century - St Werburgh and St Chad

Covering 150.8 km, this is a true long-distance trail best approached as a multi-day journey through varied terrain.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the TSW trail markings to stay on the official route.
