F50 - Alpe Veglia - Ciamporino

From the Rifugio CAI Città di Arona a path in a larch wood leads first to the Alpe La Balma and then to the "Portea". From here, up to Ciamporino, you will walk on a long natural balcony with an enchanting view of the surrounding peaks.

A 5.2 km half-day trail that offers a balanced outing without demanding too much. Budget around 1 hour and 9 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the F50 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
