Houghton Mill and Houghton Meadows Walk, Houghton Mill

A short, circular riverside walk, along flat terrain. Starting at Houghton Mill you'll be passing the remains of the old Huntingdon branch line viaduct and around the unspoiled and tranquil water meadows with wonderful views across to the Hemingfords.

At 4.4 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 59 minutes at a comfortable pace.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way.
