Lavenham Woodland Walk, Lavenham Guildhall

An easy walk around the Lavenham Woodland Project and a section of the old Lavenham to Long Melford railway line. Tree roots underfoot and some parts of the route may be muddy after wet weather. Suitable footwear is advised.

At 4.7 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 1 hour and 3 minutes at a comfortable pace.

The route forms a complete loop, returning you to where you started. This makes logistics simple and the outing entirely self-contained.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
