Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails

Whitetail Trail is a 1.7 mile loop that is blazed in white. The trail goes around the 88 acres of park property. On this trial you can get to the bridge and the Coldren St. playground. It also leads to the water trails.

Covering 7.2 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 36 minutes.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
