R07 Intragna - Cappella del Pian Cavallone

In very open environment between Intragna and the Rifugio Pian Cavallone CAI Verbano,through Cambiesso and Sunfaì along the route of the Valle Intrasca Marathon.Continuing on R03,near the ruined of ex-hotel,there is the winter bivouac always open.

This 5.1 km route sits in the sweet spot for a half-day outing — long enough to feel rewarding, short enough to leave the afternoon free. Expect around 1 hour and 7 minutes.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the R07 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
