R07 Intragna - Cappella del Pian Cavallone

In very open environment between Intragna and the Rifugio Pian Cavallone CAI Verbano,through Cambiesso and Sunfaì along the route of the Valle Intrasca Marathon.Continuing on R03,near the ruined of ex-hotel,there is the winter bivouac always open.

At 5.1 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 7 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the R07 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
