Sawtooth Mountain Trail #107
This trail is a former section of the Pacific Crest Trail which was relocated to skirt the lower west flank Sawtooth Mountain. The trail climbs to near the top of the mountain providing wonderful views of Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.
A compact 2.7 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 35 minutes.
This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. The trail is officially waymarked as 107, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
As a Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail is maintained and waymarked at the regional level. It typically connects towns, villages, and natural highlights across the wider area.
