Sawtooth Mountain Trail #107
This trail is a former section of the Pacific Crest Trail which was relocated to skirt the lower west flank Sawtooth Mountain. The trail climbs to near the top of the mountain providing wonderful views of Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.
Covering just 2.7 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 35 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 107 trail markings to stay on the official route.
A Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail weaves through the regional landscape connecting villages, viewpoints, and countryside.
