Steamboat Viewpoint Trail #14

A short 0.5 mile pleasant trail with wildflowers in season that climbs to the top of Steamboat Mountain, a former fire lookout site, with an intertesting view of the summit of Mt. Adams.

At 1.1 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 15 minutes at a comfortable pace.

Almost circular, this trail brings you back very close to your starting point. A short transfer or brief walk connects the finish to the trailhead. Look for the 14 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
