Tail 7

Trail 7 is a rugged 0.875-mile loop starting at the west end of Hickory parking lot. It features mature trees, traverses through Kickapoo Ravine, has steep climbs, and a streambed section. Portions may be impassable during high water.

At 1.5 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 20 minutes at a comfortable pace.

The route forms a complete loop, returning you to where you started. This makes logistics simple and the outing entirely self-contained. Look for the 7 trail markings to stay on the official route.
