Walupt Lake Trail #101
Beginning in the Walupt Lake Campground, the trail follows the lakeshore until reaching Walupt Creek. At the end of the lake the trail climbs into an open alpine area before meeting the Pacific Crest Trail.
Covering 6.9 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 32 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the 101 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
