Hamilton Buttes Trail #118
On the south end, the Hamilton Buttes Trail climbs through scattered old growth and second growth forests before entering open fields on top where you get views of Mt. Adams and the Cispus River. The trail follows the ridge through several open meadows.
A 9.5 km half-day trail that offers a balanced outing without demanding too much. Budget around 2 hours and 7 minutes.
This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the 118 trail markings to stay on the official route.
