Cross-Wareham Footway

A segment of the 60,000 mile Atlantic Circuit Trail, the Cross-Wareham Footway will eventually stretch roughly 12 miles across the town of Wareham, linking protected open space and nature trails.

A compact 675 m route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 9 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the ACT trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
