G00 - Via del Gries da Riale a Passo del Gries (quarta sezione)

From Riale to a little beyond Lake Morasco, proceed by road then begin the route on alpine paths passing through Bettelmat and then the steep climb that leads to Passo del Gries

At 7.1 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 34 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as G004, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
