G22 - Lago Castel - Bta di Tamia

Up to Lake Nero, suitable for mountain hikers, after Lake Nero the exposure and steepness of the trail reserve it for experts. There are long stretches of stone. However, the very frequent blue trail signs make it easier to find the trail (2024)

Covering 7.3 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 38 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the G22 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
