Monkey Bear Falls Trail
The trail crosses 10 Mile Creek on a large foot log with band rails on both sides. As you near the falls, the trail leaves the forest and switchbacks up a rocky ridge to a view point of Monkey Bear Falls.
At 3.4 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 46 minutes at a comfortable pace.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as TR 1273, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
This is a Local Walking Network (LWN) trail — a community-level route perfect for exploring the immediate surroundings, popular with locals and visitors alike.
