Mount Misery Trail (white)
Mount Misery trail is a multi-use trail, mostly single track, through typical pine/oak forests. Despite the name, there is no mountain, and 'Misery' is a shortening of Misericordia.
At 13.5 km, this is a solid full-day hike. At an average walking pace you can expect to complete the route in roughly 3 hours.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as MMT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
This is a Local Walking Network (LWN) trail — a community-level route perfect for exploring the immediate surroundings, popular with locals and visitors alike.
